For the first time this season, the Indianapolis Colts finally have more studs than duds—thanks in large part to kicker Spencer Shrader’s clutch performance, including a 58-yarder and the game-winning field goal. Josh Downs proved reliable yet again, racking up 77 yards as a constant threat, while the run defense—sparked by standout performances from Tommy and DeForest Buckner—bottled up the Houston Texans’ rushing attack.
The offensive line faced challenges against Will Anderson, while Daniel Jones’ turnover woes nearly cost the team the win. Tyler Warren’s production left room for deeper involvement, and Sauce Gardner struggled to stand out against an underwhelming Texans receiving corps. Can the Colts clean up their ball security issues and get bigger contributions from their tight ends and veteran stars as they prepare for the Commanders?
